A Washington man charged with aiding the bomber of a fertility clinic in California has died after he was found unresponsive in federal custody. Daniel Park was arrested earlier this month after he was extradited from Poland, where he fled to four days after the attack. The 32-year-old Park was accused of supplying chemicals to Guy Edward Bartkus of California, the bomber, who died in the May 17 explosion. Prison officials say Park, of suburban Seattle, was found unresponsive in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning and was pronounced dead at the hospital. No cause of death has been provided.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is back in the United States and facing human smuggling charges in Tennessee, but his future is far from certain. A federal judge has denied a request from prosecutors to keep Abrego Garcia in jail. The conditions of Abrego Garcia's release will be discussed Wednesday. Prosecutors say they'll appeal. But even if Abrego Garcia is released, U.S. immigration officials are expected to detain him and try to deport him. Abrego Garcia came to the U.S. illegally more than a decade ago and was living in Maryland. Abrego Garcia's mistaken deportation to El Salvador in March has become a flashpoint in President Donald TrumpƵapp immigration crackdown.
